Capital Area Leadership Team

The Capital Area Leadership Team (CALT) is the regional behavioral health coalition serving the Capital Area Public Health Network.

CALT brings together partners across the full continuum of care to strengthen mental health, substance misuse prevention, treatment access, recovery supports, and advocacy efforts throughout the region.

Mission

To improve behavioral health outcomes in the Capital Area through collaboration, shared data, coordinated action, and community-driven strategies across prevention, treatment, recovery, and policy.

Vision

A connected, responsive behavioral health system where individuals and families can access timely, equitable, and compassionate care across the continuum.

What We Do

CALT serves as a regional forum for:

Sharing emerging data and trends
Partner presentations and resource updates
Identifying service gaps and system barriers
Aligning prevention, treatment, recovery, and advocacy efforts
Advancing strategies identified in the Community Health Improvement Plan
Members represent prevention, harm reduction, treatment, recovery support, advocacy, healthcare, and public safety sectors, ensuring that efforts are coordinated and comprehensive.

Meeting Information

CALT meets on the third Friday of every month at 9:00 AM via Zoom.

Meetings typically include:

A featured partner presentation
Community and legislative updates
Regional resource sharing
If your work intersects with mental health, substance misuse, recovery, or behavioral health advocacy in the Capital Area, we encourage you to participate.
